From Simple Beginnings

Till We Meet AgainFairview Sport Ponies began with three main goals in mind: to make it possible for ponies to compete in many different disciplines; to breed athletic ponies capable of excelling in all equestrian sports; and to make these ponies available to people of all ages, disciplines and capabilities. With these goals in mind, Fairview Sport Ponies has become associated with many equestrian organizations such as the USDF, USEF, the NorthAmerican Sport Pony Registry and the Welsh Pony & Cob Society.

Fairview Sport Ponies is proud to offer the stud services of the talented, intelligent, athletic German Riding Pony, Nijinsky - a 2000 bay stallion who stands at 13.1 hands and is currently licensed with the NorthAmerican Sportpony Registry. Nijinsky German Sport Pony StallionHe received a score of 8.5 in jumping and an overall score of 7.8 at the NASPR stallion inspection in 2002. Nijinsky has unlimited potential for dressage, driving and jumping. He would be an excellent stud to refine any large Warmblood mare or to guarantee pony size if bred to any mare under 14.2hh. Every foal that Nijinsky has sired to date will measure pony size. Read more about Nijinsky on our Stallion page. See photos of Nijinsky's offspring on our Sale Horses page, including his 2008 fillies and photos from our first inspection in 2008.

Fairview Sport Ponies is located about one mile north of the village of Camden in West Central Illinois, just off of Route 99. Lots of exciting changes have occurred in 2008 for the Mitchell family, especially at the farm where Jan and Jerry's daughter Emily has taken up residence.
